Starting June 7, 2025, the Davos Public Transport Authority (VBD) will expand its service with flexible on-demand dial-a-buses. Visitors and locals can conveniently book a minibus using the "invia PickMeUp" app, which will take them to their destination, especially in the evening or at night. Regular public transport fares apply; season tickets such as the GA, Half-Fare, or Davos Pass are valid. The Davos Klosters guest card is not valid.
The new service provides greater flexibility and safety, especially after events such as ice hockey games or movie nights. Working people also benefit from the opportunity to get home late at night using public transport. The service serves the entire municipality of Davos, including side valleys, Monstein and Wiesen, as well as Klosters-Serneus and Saas. The dial-a-buses run after the end of the regular timetable until 3 a.m., and even until 6 a.m. on weekends and during the winter season. The average waiting time is around 30 minutes. The service is operated by Gotschna Taxi GmbH with three vehicles.
The project is a collaboration between the Davos Transport Authority, the municipality of Klosters, the Prättigau/Davos Regional Development Agency, and the Cantonal Office for Energy and Transport. An initial evaluation will be conducted after the 2025/26 winter season. If the response is positive, a permanent rollout is planned.
