Klosters has a long tradition as a tennis destination and regularly hosts the U18 European Championships as well as other international tournaments. In Davos Klosters, 21 public tennis courts are available during the summer – complemented by facilities for squash, badminton, and table tennis.
Playing a game of tennis in Klosters might make you feel a bit like Martina Hingis or Roger Federer – both laid the foundation for their careers here. But don't worry: you don't have to be a pro. Recreational players and casual gamers are also very welcome. The courts can be booked flexibly and are open to everyone outside of fixed reservations.
Whether in Davos or Klosters – you'll find everything you need for playing tennis right there: from professional stringing services and ball machines to test and rental equipment. If you want to improve your technique or get started from scratch, simply book a tennis lesson.
If the weather isn't cooperating, you can easily switch to the indoor tennis center. And if you get hungry after your match, you can grab a bite to eat right there – in the Arena Klosters or the bistro at the Färbi sports hall.
Tennis in Klosters is a real highlight for spectators as well. At the U18 junior tournament, you can experience thrilling matches for the European Championship title. Martina Hingis triumphed here back in 1994, using the tournament as a springboard for her career.
The young talents showcasing their skills at the Junior Trophy are also well worth watching. The ITF Men & Women Open features the world's best young tennis players over 18. Popular tournaments, such as the Interclub competitions, also take place in Davos every year.
