Davos is the venue for the only World Cup event in cross-country skiing in Switzerland. The international crosscountry skiing elite, both men and women, will again line up at the starting line in Davos on the weekend of 11th/12th December 2010 (t.b.c), when the Bünda area in Davos Dorf becomes a cross-country skiing stadium. The athletes battle it out for World Cup points on the challenging run through the Flüela Valley. The World Cup race triggers huge media interest in Switzerland and outside and provides spectators with a unique spectacle amidst the breathtaking Graubunden mountain landscape.
